Default Paul's ZT

I went over last night to view my late brother's car with a mind to selling mine and taking it on. It has been standing out not used since he passed away about 16 months ago. I was going to have it before, but my sister in law changed her mind. Surprisingly, it started up and sounded very well. The brake discs are rusted over and screaming and the two front tyres have some perishing, so it will need a bit of a recommission.

I've just got these pics over. Still looks well considering it hasn't seen a sponge in all that time. Still has dealer plates tax disc holder and key ring, and a very sweet underbody. Sorting it all out and dealing with selling mine is a bit daunting now!

It's nice that dawn 🙂 I'm sorry to hear about your brother 😞 I think you're doing a nice thing by him by restoring his car 🙂 I hope you post us your progress as I'm sure everyone would love to see the good progress that no doubt you will make 😉.
Kind regards Ste

Hiya

Yes I will definitely be posting about it. Paul is the reason I am car mad - he was ten years older than me, so I was still a kid when he was passing his test and getting into motors. He took me everywhere, showing me stuff and getting me to help polish etc. I feel a bit guilty letting my own two go, but I feel financially and by my heart this is the right thing to do. Fingers crossed my sister in law doesn't change her mind again! It would be a crying shame to let his pride and joy just rot away sitting there.

No doubt! Paul was booked into a Nano with her but rang me and Steve to say he didn't feel well, by the next Nano we had lost him, and with standing as well she will need a few jobs. She will be a stunning car when sorted, though.

Hi dawn, that's so nice to hear that he was your inspiration, you do what feels right love 😘.
I hope your sister in law doesn't change her mind either, good luck and once again if all goes well which I'm sure it will, I think your brother will be smiling down that his little sis is looking after his pride and joy 🙂.
Kind regards ste

I think it's a fantastic idea, and if it was me I'd buy it now before she changes her mind, and worry about selling a car once you already have it.

Just one minor suggestion though - Don't sell the white one.

I have to sell her unfortunately. Trying to keep two 75s going is too much.
