Seems to have been a few anomolies according to Reebs' thread So your vin says 03, but your build data is 02 Sometimes the build data has inaccuracies too, ie, mine is listed as paint code JEL, when in fact it's JBH

A 2003MY (Model year) vehicle can well be built in 2002 as the MY build starts circa August the previous year. Same applies all over the world, I have a 1979 MY Honda Motorbike, build December 1978.

I think you will find the MY change date is end of June of the previous year even?

the VIN on mine indicates 200(5), but was built on 12 May 2004.

My 6th digit is F though so wonder if this is the SE spec, over the +?

Model years on most manufacturers can be the year after they're built.
My tourer was built June 2001 but is a 2002 model
and my Volvo S60 was built in 2006 but is a 2007 model.

Russ.
