John, if it's just lines on the clocks, why not post it to RickSta for delining, or, when next in the UK, take it to him

I had thought of that but it was done some time ago by Klarzy and it only lasted a few weeks so I think there could be more of an issue than just a de-line:shrug

I would visit but i is 175 miles and 3 hours away from my base in the UK

The EEprom is a 93S56 John, an eight pin SOIC8 device, it's about 7mm x 9mm in size.

Transferring the eeprom from the original IPK to the replacement would be the perfect solution.

Be aware that cars fitted with PDC that employ KMB sounder would not be supported if the IPK part number is YAC11xxLNF.

Hope this helps

Brian

Thanks for the info Brian,I will take the replacement apart and have a look at the numbers and see if they compare with the original..And also see what kind of a job it is to swap over...

if I think I cant do it I will wait till I come over to the UK and try and get it sorted over there..

Cheers.

John

John.
Pop onto the Nano forum if you able to make the last meet of the year Oct 13th 14th and seek out the jobs thread, I am almost sure you will get a reply from a certain crew member whom will sort this out for you.

Don't think they'll be able to do it as the eeprom will need to be recoded

It's not just a case of putting it on T4, it needs other equipment and the virgin files to reprogramme it
