Default Weather siege

They are talking about people maybe being cut off due to forecast Siberian weather for the rest of the week. They said it would arrive Sunday morning, then Sunday evening, then Monday morning. Now they say it will be tonight. Never mind, I am fully stocked with enough provisions for the week ahead, I don't absolutely have to go out.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Thumbs down

Glad you are sorted and have no need to venture out.
The forecasters are probably on a hiding to nothing trying to second guess the weather. Tonight I am stopping just south of Stockton on the A19 hoping to wake up to the roads being their normal black and my journey across to Warrington being uneventful.
Wherever you are in this cold snap take care and keep warm.

We usually get 6 weeks of weather round about this time.

To be fair however I do have sympathy for those that have no choice but to travel in dangerous conditions. I'm glad I have the choice to hibernate until normal service is resumed. Unfortunately there are still some who disregard conditions and are a danger to others. I wonder how many think to double their 'stopping distance'.

I just love cream of tomato soup with a couple of slices of crusty bread in this sort of weather.

A few weeks ago, I spotted some thermal Long Johns in the market, so I picked up a couple of pairs. I have never worn them, prior to this year, but they do make a noticeable difference in keeping you warmer. I got up a bit earlier than usual this morning and thought to put them, despite no absolute intention to go beyond the front door.

Snow, what snow? A light dusting only, so far, -2, plus a fox sauntering slowly down the street..

A few flurries yesterday - but beautiful sunny morning today so far.

Ground is solid tho’

So if it does snow - it will hang about.
