Em!! Not sure about this. Although Chris is less irritating these days I'm not sure if his car knowledge is really up to the mark. Having lots of cash doesn't make you a car buff, you need good grounding from bottom to top and know how to get your hands dirty!

Only the Left Wing PC obsessed BBC, could get rid of it's most profitable show, because it's presenter is an old white, English, right wing dinosaur!

I'll predict one last season with Left Wing "luvvie" Evans in charge and then it will be quietly dropped due to "disappointing viewing figures"!

Chris Evans ruined Radio 2 breakfast show, can't see him making Top Gear anything but another show with him in I won't be watching.

It looks like the Beeb has a very fixed "Job Specification" for this role.
In true tradition, it needs to be someone who is arrogant, irritating with self centred opinions and, obviously, knows very little about the real world of motoring.

I think it will go down a treat with the public, in front of their boxes.

he has one of the best collections of Ferraris in the UK...

does seem to know his stuff.... all those who say I will not watch will never know if he can pull it off,
It may be a different style but you at least have to give the guy a chance...
