My name was going to be William but three days before I was born my Dads best mate who was Scottish and called ken killed himself when his motorbike hit a bridge. Three days later I became a Ken............ the end.

P.S. I was christened Roy David, just after the christening my dear mum heard someone shouting for a dog, it's name was Roy, she was horrified!
from then I was to be called David and definitely not Roy.
Caused endless problems ever since, especially on official letters from government departments, etc.
