Another key fob query
An old problem, but having got some replacement key fobs, all is well except for the actual key bar. How do you get the bar apart from the old shell? There is a How to on the forum but none of the photos seem to work?
I’ve still got all the bits (and the all important transponder to transfer). Any ‘how to’ greatly appreciated. Ray

Or just wiggle it from side to side as you pull |

Chuck the old key into a mug of boiling water for 30 seconds, tip it out into the sink, then the blade will wiggle out with moderate force applied side to side

Thanks Brian, I had thought of hot water - minus the important bits!
