Default Informal meet...

Hello all,

Is anyone interested in an informal meet over the summer months? Location could be somewhere central or easily accessed from main routes. There doesn't seem to be much activity in the Wales region....so maybe a get together of sorts would be good?

I'm in mid Wales, but happy to travel. I'm also happy to search out a venue if there is sufficient interest. Responses and suggestions welcome.

If an all Wales meet is not popular, then something in the south and west may work instead....? Hopefully there will be some interest....!

Regards to all,
Mike.

Be good for another meet in Wales, I've attended a couple in the past. Find somewhere accessible with the usual needs. Post up a location and post code, plus a few dates. Then post it up in the events section. And see where it goes from there.

Check out the Southwest area, again in the events section, either "Ratty" or "Nev the Bear" post up events on a fairly regular basis.

It is wortth looking at the Southwest Region Meets page as Allen (Ratty) and myself post details of various meets and shows.

There is a meet for Stroud Classic Car Show I have posted for Sunday 18th June which may not be too far from Wales as access to Stroud is quite good from a couple of junctions north of the M4 and M5 interchange. Also there is no need to book in advance for this show, but I would request anyone who would like to attend if they could post up on the meets page and just send the organiser a quick email to advose.

Thumbs up

There's plenty of good places to show off our cars.

A470 between Merthyr and Brecon - or just about anywhere in the Beacons, really.. Fairly accessible, too.

Obviously the Elan Valley, although it's a bit of a pig to get to for just about everyone.

Pendine Sands?

How about a regular meet somewhere on the 3rd Sunday of the month?

Cool Proposed informal meet 20/8/17 @ Parc Bryn Bach

Hi all.

Following on from this thread

I've started a new one to get a list of all those who would be interested in coming to a meet at Parc Bryn Bach, NP22 3AY from 10am on the 20th of this month.

Hopefully this would then go on to become a regular meet on every 3rd Sunday of the month.

Once established we could do another venue every 3 months or so - say at Elan Valley, Horseshoe Pass, Llyn Brianne, Pendine Sands as examples.

Another idea is to throw it out to the other members who'd regularly attend to suggest suitable quarterly locations or even have a poll on it at the beginning of that quarter.

I will list all those coming below so that we have an idea of numbers:-

75 & ZT Club members:-
[COLOR="Red"]BigBen (me) - Ben - MG ZT-T "Maurice"
Bronzey - Graham - Rover 75 Tourer
Jackatesme - John - Rover 75, "Maralyn"
Roy&Rosebud - Roy - Rover 75 Saloon
Seanalf - Sean - Rover 75[
P3AHE - Andrew - MG ZT/COLOR]

Non 75 & ZT club members attending:-
Lee Edwards
Dan Watkins
Chris Edwards
Chris Evans (Not the ginger one... lol!)
Colin Price
Adam Ley
Mark Humphrey (TBC)
Daniel Demello (TBC)
Toby Taylor
Dan Tjoe(TBC)

Default Parking Arrangements for the 20th

Just a quick post to inform all those attending that we will be using the Parking area at the driving range.

To get to it take the first turning on the right immediately as you turn into the parc access road from Merthyr Road take the first - Signed "Golf".

This is a nice flat, wide and long parking area perfect for our needs.

View it on Google Maps HERE and Street View HERE

Thanks!
Ben.

Done!

It's a nice drive over the Black Mountain from Llangadog to Upper Brynamman and back, too

Look forward to seeing you there
