On ebay I,ve seen Quixx scratch item number 250166720460, has anyone used it before and is it any good.

Ive seen it Tim and wondered the same thing.
Had a look for Independent reviews with no joy.

Did you find the Thermostat?

Its a pig of a job to change.
Its under the Maf sensor at the back, easy to get to if in the BMW as not transverse engine, but access is not easy for us according to Julesbass and changing even more of a Pain.
So I hope it isn't that.

I bought some recently and all it seems to be is small strips of very fine wet & dry, then there are two tubes of what appears to be rubbing compound and T cut. Somebody just clipped the bumper in the car park and left their marks on the corner. instructions are smooth rough edges with wet & dry, then two mins circular motion with tube no1 (rubbing compound) then polish to a shine with tube no2 (Tcut.)

Will only take the finest of scratches out

I suppose its handy to have all together in one box but it did no more than the individual items I could have bought...
