3) If I forget to press the button to unlock the doors, when I get out of the car the back door and boot are still locked. This has happened several times now!
4) I don't need autolock to retain the option of using central locking if I am concerned about the people outside the car.
5) Most carjacking involves methods in which autolocking does not help - such as the carjacker bumping into the back of your car so you get out to look at the damage and get insurance details, so having autolocking gives you a false sense of security
6) It increases use of the lock, so wearing it out quicker
7) It robs me of choice. I like having a choice. Every time choice is taken away from me, I feel a little more restricted.
8) I don't like having locked doors forced on me.
9) The lock button is a toggle, so if we're in an autolocked car and someone unsavoury comes toward us, my instinct would be to press the lock button, which would actually unlock the doors! Eeek!
10) I can't think of a tenth reason, but I wanted ten reasons.....
Reason 10. When people don't know that you have to pull the handle twice, they just pull harder and break the handle.

Mine is disabled!

Drop Reebs a PM and if you ask nicely, he may connect his T4 to your car and disable speedlocking for you, failing that a trip to see CB750Chris in Pompey could be on the cards

I値l give you a good reason why disabling is a good idea, because I知 somebody who knows; because I sell a whole load of them due to this problem door actuators get eaten up by excessive use.

If you want to replace door actuators every five minutes leave it on if not disable it via T4, I understand and appreciate the theory behind it of anti hijack but really who wants to be replacing door actuators in the middle of winter if they don稚 have too.

Not that I知 suggesting people should stop buying them from me I知 more than happy to sell them

I thought the doors locked once you were moving. Surly only a stationary car would get hijacked?

I prefer single door (drivers door) unlocking when one press of the remote is used and then other doors unlock at second press.

Factory option via T4, my doors certainly don't lock when moving Also, Poppy has been banned for a number of years now
