Default New custom dials design option for rover 75 & mg zt!!!

Evening all! Here's something new I've been working on last night and this morning. Paul (Championdaddy) got in touch with me last night asking if it would be possible to make mki 75 style dials but for his ZT with a MG logo on the rev counter and with the correct ZT speedometer (as the ZT speedometer is different to the Rover 75 speedo). Well after a good few hours work, I've been able to come up with this which were fitted this morning....BLACK INVERSE MKI 75 STYLE DIALS!

Have to say I am well pleased with how these have come out. The very first of this style. Gives a more modern and sportier design with the black dial faces and aftermarket needles which glow amber with the backlighting, and yet adds that retro touch which goes so well with our 75's and ZT's.

Here's a before and some after pics showing the transformation. The clocks were original MKII ZT clocks with the factory white dial faces and blue backlighting on the dials, the LEDs were converted to amber to match the rest of the interior lighting, and the custom dial faces and custom needles were fitted

These dials are £30 and the aftermarket needles are £30 I can do these for the 75 and for the ZT, all engine variants

Lovely job, Rick, far better suited to the retro-classic design of these cars. But how do you work in -30C?

PS, MG dials should really be octagonal, no? That would be a project and a half! I have made octagonal speaker mounts for the T-bar of my F, out of mdf.

I could probably do the dials in a Octagonal shape
