Default The Rover 75 Electric Coolbag.

The Rover 75 Electric Coolbag.

After looking for this accessory last summer I soon realized the chances of finding one were very, very slim.
However, I was able to source a supplier of ORIGINAL spec and COLOUR coolbags here.
https://www.mgdonline.co.uk/products...IcnFbLwEe8qFxo
After checking first with the guys at the company, it was apparent these were EXACTLY the same as the ones supplied to ROVER, minus the little Rover badge.
Here is the one bought today.Just stuck a rover badge this evening.

In 2016 the German Manufacturers changed the colour and Printed a large brand name on the front in big black ugly letters. “>DOMETIC<”.

The ones I have sourced have no brand name emblazoned on the front, must be NOS circa 2015. (as the Rover accessory brochure) the last of the old design, just minus the small coloured Rover badge on the front flap. I soon got one after a search on ebay.
Many companies on the internet are selling these new style coolbags but failing to update their web pages.
I fell foul of this practise to find I’d got the re-vamped “>DOMETIC<” cool box when it arrived at my door. They were still using the old image on their web page.
Here is the Rover brochure original.

So that’s it, if you would like a coolbox as “A la” Rover 75, this is your last chance.
Kev.

Word of warning with these kind of devices, don't leave them plugged in for prolonged periods in your car, they will drain a car battery to the point that the car wont start in under 12 hours.

Well, that’s it for KLM. Don’t let your battery drain. Donate your bag to me.

When my son bought his Rover Connie SE+, there was one of the original cool bags in the boot. He said he was not interested in keeping it, and sold it for around £40. I had said I would buy it off him but, hey ho. I did buy myself a cooler when I went to Le Mans 24 hr race. It was excellent and took the temperature down to around 5 degrees. I took bacon and other perishable things in it, and it was turned off at night around 8.00 o’clock and temperature was around 30 degrees in the morning, still below freezing. Everything in it was consumed without any comebacks. This one had Coca Cola on the name on the door.
