Yes it is possible to convert an earlier two pump system to a later single pump set up - ask Marinabrian.

Depends on whether my new UBP from DMGRS is the right one ..
maybe a project for the warmer days

Thread rivival !!!
We only use genuine uprated VDO units as fitted to the later single pump system.


The pump insert itself fits both single and dual intank set ups and is good for 100k miles unlike ANY other brand we've tried. Comes with adaptor lead when used with UB pump.

Yes double the price but last 4 times as long so cost half the price in reality (even less if you've paid for labour costs twice over already!)

However today a customer wants us to fit a cheapo Magneti Marelli from China so we'll see how many months it lasts and report back ☡

2. Cooling fan..All speeds functioning
3. Bonnet cable divider block

I have fitted one of the VDO pumps from Jules and there are no problems with fitting it. Maybe twice the price but if it lasts twice as long equals only half the problem and fitting time and also down time with the car.
