Well today didn't go as planned, I noticed a damp patch on the living room ceiling under the bath/shower, the sealant has failed and is leaking I removed the old sealant & took the bath panel off and it's wet under there so the shower is out of commission for a few days until it's dried out, that's going to go down like a lead balloon

Would you believe swmbo (always) did some xmas shopping today. Do all women spend time telling their husbands how much they saved on every item they bought. I keep telling her i am truly not interested. Told her only the door cards and cream seats left on her list, she was not amused.

Had that with ours ,back end of Dcember, wasnt the shower seal that failed, it was the rear bath seal, and the son fills the bath until its almost overflowing, despite being told on many occasions not to..
Weather today started of quite frosty, -4; and eventually crept up to +4 about.a mid morning. I worked until mid afternoon and then came home,I was frozen, it was nice in the sun, but the wind was enough to slice you in two, absolutely freezing. Just been out to do my collecting, and its bleaching down with snow, dont think it will lie though, its really wet stuff.

I'm not a popular chap because the shower is out of action for 24 hours to give it time to dry out.

It's been rain then hailstone all day here proper grim & cold. I even managed to ruin the pork casserole I put some a different brand of sea salt in the mill & boy is it saltier than the last lot the meal was inedible and I chucked it. I ended up making some sausage butties for tea.

You can’t go wrong with a sausage buttie! A good choice of emergency food there..
