generally speaking good mot history. corrosion on brake pipes but there is one mot with no mileage but it seems to correspond following year but has it done a couple thousand more miles?
as you say nice looking and sandstone, what more could one ask for internally

The ad says it's a 1997cc petrol. Put it down to typer error.

It IS a 1997cc petrol engine.

Certainly a lot of nice car for the money. It would cost more where I am just for a belts and pump change plus service.

As ever, even if you only got a good year of untroubled motoring and then had to scrap it you would have had your monies worth compared to a new or newish 'box' that depreciates quicker than a quick thing.

I guess the last owner only got a few hundred as trade-in value or the dealer picked it up for loose change at an auction

Reassuring to see folks think this looks like a well priced car. Same colours and spec as my 2001 CDT saloon at the same asking price. Do tourers generally go for more, less or the same as equivalent saloons?

It really is hit and miss. Prices especially this past 12 months from what I’ve seen are all over the place for both saloons and tourers. It’s a very hard one to answer.
