dont supose it is really worth the time to chase the wiring back to origin to give us a clue?

one thought... is it only on the Dizzie? or is it only on the PPD cars.... my 01 connie CDT auto has it, but my 03 ZTT CDTI auto does not...

Mines a 1.8 petrol so maybe just a PPD item, I have been through the electrical library PDF it has images of all the plugs and it does not appear on that, maybe it was for a coolant level sensor? not much it can be for TBH.

No matter I was just curious as I am having ECU communication issues I was wondering if that was to blame now I know it has nothing to do with it.

Just a thought, was the copy of the electrical library from 2003/4?

If so, then the page for this plug may have been present in earlier versions but subsequently deleted. So it might be in an earlier copy.

I have early and late wiring diagrams and the plug doesn't show on any
