ICELink? Forget it...or maybe not
Well - I really don't know what is going on with the Dension ICELink.
There are several on-line retailers who advertise an ICELink plus for the Landrover Discovery or Rover 75 with the Symphony (hi-line) head unit. However, Dension tell me no such beast exists. Please, can anybody out there let me know IF they have an ICELink plus which is compatible with the Symphony HU? I'd really like to know one way or another. Thanks Paul |

I would suggest you call their UK importer, Progressive on 0871 871 9747 They were certainly able to tell me which unit was right for my car (which has Satnav fitted) and having installed it, I can confirm they were right, even if it doesn't much like the more advanced menu options!

I was in contact with the Swedish distributor regarding this very issue and according to them I could have either a Dension IceLink or Connects2 kit to go with the Symphony but that there were delivery times of a few weeks as at least the Dension kit was built-to-order. If they are correct in the end I don't know - I still haven't decided on the way to go with my ICE setup. I does contradict the compatibilty database at dension.com though. Cheers, /Erik |

Dension have no idea what they are doing. The Dension distributor here in the UK tell me that there is no such ICELink Plus The connects2 isn't as good as I first thought - which is why i want to change to the ICELink Plus - IF they actually make it. I am being stonewalled by the UK distributor and Dension just don't bother answering my e-mails |

Paul,
Dension never seem to reply to emails. This company in USA supply their kit... http://www.europeanautosource.com They seem to give good support, see Dice and Icelink Plus links on http://www.x5world.com/search.php?searchid=538441 They have a fair bit of input there....
