Default Help Please!! - smell of burning oil

Hi all,

Last couple of days started to get a smalle of burning oil coming through heater (intermittently), more noticebale when i stop when i have it on, cant see anything leaking - anyone come across this before??? or give me some suggestions of items to check if it's a common problem?

V6 ? check the breather pipe T piece under the Quad cam KV6 cover.

What engine do you have?

How old is the pollen filter?

Check the breather pipes just behind the alternator tee piece is known to break

Changed them when I had the stat done. Cost a small fortune from Land Rover for me.

I later found out you could replace with hose and.connectors and would have been far cheaper and last a lot longer.
