Alternator tensioner petrol turbo
Hello everyone, I'm currently fitting a replacement turbo (thanks Graeme) to a 1.8 petrol ZT, thanks to Mr Haynes manual I have also removed the alternator!!, now I have installed it back but a question on the tensioner, the one fitted is spring loaded (dont know if they all are?) does the tensioner need to be locked off into position or can it run under its own spring tension if you know what I mean? Do you use the centre bolt to lock it off? if thats the case?
Many thanks |
