Wouldn't you have thought FIFA knew about the alcohol ban at stadiums before Brazil were awarded the tournament, and that, they would have sorted that right from the start rather than at this late date?

They seem to treat it as a footballing holiday. It's only a serious business to the poor viewers...

I agree totally. A nice outing with free food etc. Some of the swedes have the same attitude (the fabled Zlatan for one)

Now rather than have an independent Scotland perhaps we should have a fully intergrated country then the former Scotland and former England would get to the finals.

Pleeeease - we dinna want a scottish goalie surely

I went to old trafford a couple of years back to watch a champions league match (sponsored by amstel), and they weren't selling alcohol during the match - you had to wait till half time. Crazy.

think yourself lucky , we cant buy or drink beer at the game here due to a wee incident at hampden in the early 80s .

A certain old firm final.
