Sunroof drain pipes....easy clean
Had my ZT ctdi 16 months now, love it to bits, but that was not always the case. Had it a week, it poured down for 2 days, total disbelief carpets wet and i mean soaked. Joined the club and thanks to the forum, set to work and re-sealed and cleaned the drain pipes at the bulkhead joint with mastic, after a month wow, dry carpets. Now i clean them every 2-3 months with a 2 metre lenghth of the flexible plastic coated wire which was always used to hang net curtains. I open the sunroof fully and clean them from the top all the way through. I know the wire is thin and a bit bendy but it keeps the water flowing perfectly.
