Had to cut plastic on bumper for lights to shine through.and source longer screws ,those supplied being a bit short.
Very classy,i like those

I'm hoping to find some that will run the length of that channel.

Sorry, but any car that has them fitted when it wasn't standard just looks too Halfords for me.

Also Devilish has got his to "dim" when the sidelights come on Really need to find out how he did that
You can dim LED's to some extent by reducing the voltage to them, but they tend to go a bit critical at a certain voltage - likely you might find some lit and some not. The best way to dim them is by PWM - rapidly turn them completely off and on. The persistance of the eye, will translate that to a dimming effect and its more efficient on average current. Maybe some of these DRL's have a built in dimmabilty.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I would ask why you would WANT to dim DRL's with the headlights? They aren't blinding (even at night), and they do throw out a little usable light right in front of the car that the headlights don't...

EDIT - Obligatory DRL pic:

When I was recently being followed by an Audi, I noticed that when they were indicting, the DRL went dim on the side that was flashing.

I think that if it did not dim, then nobody would be able to see the indicator flashing.

If a DRL is within xx cm of an indicator it has to dim under construction and use for this exact reason. This wouldn't be an issue with a retrofit (legally, and it's so far away it would never be confusing).

The dimming with the headlight is just to reduce power draw (not that it'd be an issue anyway).
