So what silly excuse have they come up with for scrapping these cars? Does no body at Longbridge know the "English" words for "For Sale"?

I like those red fire cars!

Contacted Longbridge today/this morning/this afternoon, It is very suprising to find out mostly its a "ghost town" when talking to MG GB Ltd. However left a few phones calls (hopefully will be returned) , spoke to HQ of MG GB ltd and contacted there e-mail site for assistance.

I dont know how much time we have to save the S regs in Longbridge, but time may be short ,so hence the frantic attempts to talk to someone with any clout!.I am a little shocked though of just how quiet the factory seems to be with staff etc?.

If any one has contact names/numbers to get even closer to the "men in the know" then please blast me numbers/names on the PM box, and i will keep chasing up the do-ers.

MG.

I have a friend of mine called Steve powell, he's joining in with the search now with me right now! I have just seen his very rare steel blue Rover 75 on a W plate which is a classic. W68 RGM, This car he picked it was bought for £250, it just shows these S plater cars can be saved.

Hes joining up.

Any more news andy on the contact point.

My days of shinnying up drain pipes are long gone, but if you want someone to rush the gates I'm your man.

Rumble Rumble I'm a Tank...........

I might just do a detour on the way home this afternoon, go via Longbridge and have a looksee.
