that is why i am trying to sort a delivery miles Rover 75 like SMG Rover/AE Wilcox, to put in my garage and use after my current tourer dies a thousand deaths, one ready made to go so to speak. Thats the way to go. |

If there was still a 'new' ZT 260 out there in the right colour, I would certainly buy it and put in my garage for very occasional use

Yep!
I feel that the low mileage examples or secure a good deal on the last of the 08 registrations, and slap it in the garage. The Rover brand will leave on for many a year yet matey. The only probs are the lack of the 08 models with only around 8/9 cars its not many to be garaged. |

I live in Barnton near Northwich, Cheshire. On my village I have counted 6 or 7 used locally and plenty more around the area. The ex Rover dealer says that they still get enquiries for the 75.......

I have the only one on the whole of my estate . There was a wedgewood blue one i few years back that i waved to a couple of times ( they never waved back as they probably thought i was a nutter! ) and they sold it for some piece of cheap french rubbish .(who's the nutter now!) I cant imagine selling my tourer as it's economical and luxurious and become a loyal and much loved friend after yet another 3000 mile tour of France in absolute comfort.

However i just cannot imgaine no Rovers in my family home, No it cannot be...........not happening. |
