they are menu driven and with a little bit of playing around I soon found my way around it... It tells you what to do and what to check, although you do not have the probes etc that come with the full T4 cable kit you can just use a miltimeter etc to the same ends... its all do this, check that, did you get the expected reading etc... Like Bian says as long as you remember not to do an engine ECM update (if you have the 160 I think is all) then you can not do anything that can not be undone...

So basically the stuff is just RDS 5.06 coupled with DST0006V, and running with a piece of hardware that emulates a T4, kind of like a T4 Lite, only restricted to 75/ZT cars and for a given number of VINs. Correct ?
Just curious as to how Phil managed to avoid copyright issues from Omitec on the software though...reselling the stuff could be seen as copyright infringement. But I'm sure Phil has thought of this. And I also remember discussing Virtual-T4 with Phil when I met him last April...told me he didn't want to sell to anyone who didn't own a true T4, as he wanted to make sure people would be able to use a real one in case the virtual one had glitches...guessing he's confident enough now in his piece of kit

Oh yes v interested if Phil is selling. Down here in the west country there are very few T4 specialists and this would help. I would be willing to buy and hold for SW member's.

Sounds good..... typical that the laptop I had for diagnostics doesn't have a 2.5Ghz CPU
