Default Should I stay, or should I go..

My forum subscription ends this weekend, the problem is do I resubscribe? I've had many years of entertainment on the forum, met some good friends and travelled to some memorable meets.

I feel I have put more into the forum than I have taken out. I like to think of myself of kind of hands on and many have benefitted from this.

The problem is where does the money go? Daft things have been posted, Spanish dogs appeals, money offsetting the forum costs etc. Do they need my tenner or is there plenty of dosh in pot. Would be nice to see a bit more spent on bringing the forum up a bit.

Many groups exsist these days on facebook and also on the net, do I become more active on these and walk away from a forum I once loved..?

I hear u Paul. Does all those tenners from so many members really go to keeping the forum going. Does it all go on insurance for meets(no insurance for the 2nd nstional last year iirc) or does it go in putting the mods up in hotels and in fine food at the bigger meets. il no doubt feel the fire of some on here but i do feel its about time the funds were put back into the club. Banners, flags and the like for the regions is just an idea

There was insurance, Christopher sent me a copy of the Insurance policy, which I had to show to the Administrator at Bowes, before they would let us have a meet there

I would stay Paul, your advice and knowledge would be badly missed.

I hope you stay on.

Hi Pab
It can only be your decision !

All I can say on the point of “where does the money go” is does it really matter?

For me personally this forum is for its members both friends and foes
People make the forum what it is and without people like yourself and other like you it wouldn't be what it is today.

The help and Knowledge on this forum is second to none and most people will go out of their way to help a member in need.

I for one would like you to stay.

Kind regards
Steve
