I think its usually around 800 ish its done 106,000 but had engine rebuilt last yr. Oil has been topped up regularly due to slight leak so oil is fresh.

Start with the basics, change the oil and filter.

Replace the switch or get the oil pressure checked, if theres a problem it will show up on tickover as once revved the pressure will rise

flashing when engine cold or hot ? if hot then oil ( may be not best quality oil ) when gets hot oil loses thickness and pump cannot produce right pressure + filter full of "rubbish" which doesn't help either .

Remove pressure switch and replace it with a known good one to eliminate the switch. You could use an old fashioned pressure gauge to check the actual engine oil pressure. (I don't know why they ever stopped fitting these as standard).
