The nick name of Windrush has stuck with me since my service days in the RAF On coming home after spending 3 years in Egypt I boarded the troop ship Empire Windrush which caught fire and sank in the med afer demob I joined my local county reg The Royal Hampshire Regt (TA) in which I serve for nearly12 years ,and now as an old man and meet up with old pals they still greet me with hello Windrush

Mine comes from a Dungeons & Dragons link as well as it happens. Efreeti are a race of genie type creatures who can be found on the Plane of Fire.
So there you go! Raistlin, we may be the only two Rover 75 owning D&D fans in the country! |

Isn't Windrush from Lord of the Rings? (I think (but am not sure) that it is Gandalf's horse!
Could be wrong, though! |

Ken because I was named after a Scottish friend of my Dads who was killed on a motorbike two days before I was born
I am so glad it wasn't one of Mums friends who was on that bike because going through life called Pauline would have been difficult |
