Miles per Gallon. KV6
Pleased with the MGZT SE Sports 180 Auto. 255miles Four Ashes Wolverhampton from Reading and back yesterday 35.94mpg measured brim to brim same Filling station.(Tesco, Reading) I always put a shot of Redex in a full tank. Would like it to be 45.799 but I would also like to be 27yeas old and on my honeymoon so I will settle for the real world. Motorway and B and A roads. Chris S.

That's very good. My ZT only does 25! I am thinking its the induction kit as its well serviced and low miles. My old KV6 did 33mpg on standard airbox.

Nice to talk to you yesterday, hope you tried out your vis motors on the way back. I have never managed consumption figures like that in my KV6 auto, but I do like to hear the engine performing and keep the vis motors free. These cars really sound nice when you slide into sports mode and put your foot down to overtake.

Fuel consumption? You know what the Rolls Royce dealers say, "If you have to ask, you can't afford one!" I just fill it up and drive it until it needs filling up again. I don't smoke or drink heavily, so 2 out of 3 aint bad!

That's my thinking. I just enjoy it. I can't be bothered to take the induction kit off.

My zs 180 does 40mpg on a run! It does weigh nearly half a ton less and it's far from comfortable so not really worth the saving... my old 75 never got close to 30, mid 20's most of the time so 35 is good, especially for an auto

I could never get above 30.0 in my old KV6 75, I did 52000 miles in it and could never get above 30!

Its just about 1 mpg more than the MGRover figures so allowing for possible variation at the pump in spite of my best efforts I think it is a fair figure- I wasn't exceeding 65mph on the motorways and sometimes a bit less so all in all Im happy with the figures. The conditions make a difference to everything and of course I had "Stocktake" check the VIS motors at the nano and he put his magic finger on the accelerator cable!!. Chris S.
