V6 versus 1.8K bell housing bolt patterns?
Does anyone in here know if V6 transmissions will physically fit onto a 1.8K series block? Thanks

Interesting question.
I don't know, but at least I can bump your post back up the board, so hopefully someone who does know can answer. |

I'm looking at auto converting a 1.8 K series Freelander.
The only auto transmissions for these are for the TD4 or the 2.5 V6. There was a ZS180 with a PG1 gearbox which made me think that maybe the V6 and 1.8 have the same bell housing bolt pattern, but people on the PG1 facebook group are saying that the PG1 on a V6 has a different bell housing, so I guess not. |
