Its been on the cards for a while as fans have been unhappy, what price Rafa back to Merseyside ? Would Everton dare ? Would Rafa dare ?

As an Everton fan all I can say is it's about time.

Nice bloke and made an instant impression in first season but that looks like it was mainly down to the defensive work from David Moyes and the attacking flair of Roberto.

Not nice to see any manager sacked but it was the West Ham game that done it for me.

As an Everton fan i feel I have to comment..can see why they have fired him , Poor in last 10 games or so.. BUT the season wasn't a total loss ..2 semi finals ...A stretched squad (albeit one of the strongest for years)..a lot of injuries in defence..a few very poor refereeing decisions at crucial time (particularly against man city in 2nd leg of semi final) have gone some way to his exit...I love the way they have attacked the better teams and not sat and defended..The team has won lots of neutrals over with the performances over the last 3 years and with a little tinkering could well have finished in the top 4 or 5..I hope he goes on to a club that deserves him and gives him the time to achieve his dreams..
As for who the team get next ....???..just hope he has the team playing attractive attacking flowing football COYB !!!

I don't think the Everton fans would like to see Moyes back in charge, especially after the "embarrassing" bids he placed to sign Fellaini and Baines for Man Utd.

I went off moyes a long time ago..he always quoted " the grass isnt always greener " when a player was being wooed by other bigger clubs ...but jumped at the chance as soon as he was offered a job away from goodison ..I for one do not want him back...sooner have big Sam Allardyce
