I don't know if anything came of this discussion on the 260s, but it might be worth an investigation, you never know!
It would sort of make sense that a faulty "interface module" might be the answer many have been looking for. |

It's just a discussion about some cars aircon never working properly. A number of members have changed pretty much every component in their aircon systems to no avail, but thanks to some serious scrutiny of "the manual which can never be named", it appears there is a part called the "air conditioning interface module", which lives buried deep in the dashboard, and a faulty one of these could be the answer. As it looks like a dash out job to replace, with no guarantee of success, I'm not sure if anyone has tried it. |
