Default Baroness Scotland

Looks like she might loose her job over recent reports she employed an illegal worker.

Do you think she'll sell her 75???

It was more a rhetorical question Pete.
I suspect its owned by HM Gov (so you and I then) and will be offered to her replacement should it been seen that she has to leave her post.
Of course, nothing to say that the next person would prefer something else, in which case......
I'm not sure how the precurement and issuing of government vehicles happens, although I did see that the ex mayor of croydens 75 Conny was up for sale a few months ago on fleabay.

The ownership or even her use of a 75 is evidence enough for me that her decision making is not all bad...

She is probably going to be sacked and the ride to 10 Downing Street in a 75 was her leaving gift.......

Nonsense. Aparrently the conversation went

'Now then, whose been a naughty girl'

'I have, I'll go if you want me to'

'Heavens no, but I would like you to stick up for me when they try to push me out'

'OK that's a deal'

Ministerial vehicles are supplied by the Government Car Service. Around 170 vehicles are in the Ministerial car pool, and rather like a company car the user has the option of using a vehicle up to a specific limit. So if you become Junior Minister for the Dept of Pencil Pushing and Paperclip Affairs you cannot start demanding a Daimler.

There is some scope for Ministers to request a vehicle that might be a little unusual; I remember Tom Watson for example specified a MINI as his official car to show support for British workers. Overall the Government car pool works in a similar way to a typical old company car scheme with grades etc. Typically for a public sector department it's not that easy to explain simply either!

Local Authorities have the option to either use the services of the GCDA or to buy/lease vehicles from whoever they wish.

I've spent all my life looking for a job like that. Do a bit of pushing around and then have an affair. Could be any number of politicians over the years.
