Ask to be written up for anti-nausea medication. You will need it to get you through.

I have. He's prescribed me some strong anti-sickness drugs today, so we'll see what happens. Good news is there's been no reaction to the cells so far.

Update*

Nausea may be receding (Don't know yet) and don't feel as quite worn out as I did this morning.

Usually, you can gauge this by the sight of a meal and if you feel like reaching or not when you try to eat. Step by step, day by day you are getting through this.
Anti-nausea medication can be given by tablets, injection or sub-lingually - melt in the mouth. Do have a peaceful night

Update*

Still no signs of rejection. Nausea has definitely gone, and feeling much better.

Magnesium levels are low, so having to take tablets to boost it.

Weirdly I haven't started losing my hair yet?

Good morning David, how are you today?
Hair loss is something you can ask your specialist about. Not everyone who has chemo gets it.

I'm doing good thanks. Platelet count is 150 which has amazed the doctors since it should be around 50 at this point. Off the antibiotics now, so I'm not plugged in as much as I used to be.

Only problem now is the constipation that I was suffering from has gone into full reverse. 😨

I've got a friend who's undergoing chemo at the moment, last time I took him down for a topup, he showed me a gizmo, looks like a skull cap, that fits over your head and flows warm air over your hair. Stops the hair going brittle
Which is what causes the hairloss. The hair doesn't fall out, it 'snaps'.
It also depends on what 'brew' they're giving you. Different cancers have different brews. Seems hairloss is more common with breast cancer treatment.
