Update*

Treatment is continuing as planned. Official infusion of cells to proceed on Friday. Beginning to feel a little tired now, but in general I'm still OK.

All the very best to you - I have a lifelong friend who is slowly, but surely, recovering from a bone marrow transplant as a result of MDS. It wasn't all plain sailing (especially when told after the op. that he couldn't eat black pudding and blue stilton cheese!) - but's he now back to hiking around the village, drinking John Smiths Magnet Ale and getting back to where he was before the op. in late November.
My very best wishes for a similar recovery for you

Thank you everyone.

Update* final infusion of chemo went today (definitey beginning to feel it now), along with the first of many infusions of anti-rejection fluids.

Cells to be transplanted tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile dad's been looking after Tarquin, and he says all's well.

Thanks for reporting in and for letting us know how the treatment is going. Your bound to feel tired. Stay with it, all the best for tomorrow
