Vote your mod into office?

At the end of the day I'm part of the 95% of the club who no one would even notice if we weren't here. There seems to be 5% of the membership bickering about things that really don't matter. If someone wants to be a mod let them, who cares? As for voting, again 95% of the membership don't know each other from Adam! So 5% will be voting for each other and still moaning about the results.
Come on Guys this is not real life it's a forum, it's supposed to be fun no one is forced to be on here, let's start enjoying it again.

Of the "Greens" that have voted.... Only two are Moderators

Greens are officials of the Club, nothing more, they give their time voluntarily and most have full time jobs and other interests, commitments.

WIDE LOAD had a valid point also..... (although I must disagree with his opening statement )

I did not ask to be a Moderator, but was given the job. And I will do so as diligently as I do in all of my other numerous, unpaid work to assist the community that I am involved in (On-line as well as in the real world). There will be no election of officers. The owners appoint, the appointees have the right to refuse or take up the mantle. End of.
