Default Bit cheesed off

2nd hand strut just arrived which I paid £28 for and it's turned up full of oil,so just hoping the oil was from somewhere else and not the shock.

Unless someone dipped it in oil to rust proof i cant see anywhere else that oil would come from

It really hisses me off when I buy used goods, car or other stuff and it`s not clean.

Well took it apart and yes it's totally shot,no oil what so ever in itmessaged the guy who are car breakers and he assured me the part was fully tested,so I just told him he needs to find some new mechanics.funny thing that made me laugh was that he said you buy second hand parts you have to expect NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- basically,and he also said well it was next day delivery,what more do ya want.as you can imagine I was dumb founded

Name and shame the breakers! They don't deserve genuine folk spending their hard earned with them. Best to warn folk away from people like that
