Default Convoy from North East to national at Eden Camp.

After discussing with Stu,here is the plan, Newcastle members can meet at my house 7.20, then we go to Washington services south A1, arrive 7.40, depart 7.50.
Next stop will be Bradbury service station on the A689, just off junction 60 a1, on the right. 8.15, depart 8.25, travel along 689 to A19, then stop at Exelby services Northallerton 8.55, leave there 9.05 , then any stragglers from north Yorks area could meet in the lay by on the right of York road A19 just outside of Thirsk, arriving at Eden Camp just before 10.

I will start a list at the beginning of February, and anyone who wants to join the convoy, please add your name and meeting point, you wish to join. Time will be tight at each point, literally 10 mins, to make sure we get there for 10 o clock, so any late comers will just have to play catch up I'm afraid and try to join at the next venue, or catch us up on the road.

Hi, would it not be better to stop off at Durham services? (Bowburn) at junction 61?

No because that means members from south Durham such as Syu, having to travel north, just to turn around and go south. Stu and I have discussed and set the route behind the scenes, so as time is tight, this is the best system.

It's the garage on the right, just after you join the 689 EAST bound from the A1 if that's the same one you mean? It's called Bradbury service station.,as in post 1 Robson.

Service station is just before the vet centre on the map, if you zoom in, it will come up.

Yeah I think that's the one. Never heard of it's name before that's all.

Put me down for that please.
