IR steering wheel controls
If this has been answered be for apologies.
My zt has a kenwood KRC-391unit which I think has ir steering wheel control, there certainly a wire in the eye brow overvalued little blister in the unit. The question is if I change to a newer single din with iso connectors will the swc work or will I need an adaptor,. I haven't sorted a new radio yet so it's just a general question Thanks Scott |

Many Kenwood units have the infra-red facility, if you change the KRC-391 for a later Kenwood that has, it may be a straight swap.

I'm changing my IR controls over to wired for a new head unit tomorrow, I'll put some pictures up.
You'd be able to refit the IR system at a later date if you wanted to. |
