Default Noisy CDTi - Well inside anyway.......

My recently acquired CDTi Tourer has now had the thick end of £300 spent on it to service the bits the previous owner thought were best ignored.

Runs very sweetly even though it is still on the original MAF.

Of major disappointment is the racket inside the car. For a lux barge this car is a disaster zone. At no point would you be unaware it is diesel powered!

Been squired round in 90's taxis that are more refined - is this right or are you folk more tolerant?

It is a shame as the rest of the car is what I wanted to cart round the new dog.
