Cool

My ZTT V8 has a Supercharger fitted but on a good run, without the heavy right foot, I can get 26mpg. Average is roundabout 21mpg.
Heavy right foot brings it down to 8mpg, and change the rear tyres every 4,000 miles.

I had my headlights polished by a professional detailer and they now look as new. He gave them a protective coating which has a years guarantee. Good value at £40 for the two.

Default Lower mount

Finally got round to fitting the lower engine mount.
Used the poly bush one for diesels.

WORST MISTAKE EVER.
Straight away there was a vibration when idling and gets worse at around 1900 rpm.
Its that bad my fingers are starting to go numb after 9 miles.
Can't see how I could of messed up the fitting so its coming off as soon as possible.
Terrible.

Fitted it with the original inner sleeve as recommended on here , seems to be about 1mm to small each side where as the supplied sleeve sits about 1mm proud each side , so don't know if that's got anything to do with it
The vibration when stationery is creating a rattle , which wasn't there before , the last time I had a rattle like that it was the flexi joint that had split , causing the exhaust to move and rattle so will check that tomorrow.

I stick £65-70 into my 1.8 (i.e. a full tank) every Friday morning....the joy of a 32 mile commute to work...

Cool

Washed Redfive, The Bear and Leafy, Ratty’s car, whilst waiting for the phone call from the garage telling me Banana was ready to collect.

Whoopee she’s now home.

HI Stan.
make sure you have tightened up the large bolt enough, when you think it is tight do another 1/4 turn I have never heard of this before, and I have fitted a few of the power flex diesel mounts with the original insert
