Just had another thought about this... If we can organise a group meet then we get a designated parking spot which helps tremendously on the day.

It is usually a bit nearer the action.

And I will love to see a cavalcade of our cars running around the track.

BTW That will NOT be a speed trial only a sedate stroll around but still fun hey!

For a speed trial we would have to have too many modification to comply with regulations.

I would be quite happy taking stills for this but that would mean someone else will have to drive my car around the track.

Any offers?

Edd

Originally mentioned as wolleysox thought we might get some video of the convoy on the M5.

However using mine as a video car whilst on the "calvalcade" really doesn't work as all you see is the car in front with the glimpse of others on bends, have a look at the Bruntingthorpe parade lap video and mine didn't feature at all. I'd be quite happy to set up somewhere on the track and video the full parade of our cars.

Cheers
Jim

Cheers for the offer Martin.

As I intend covering the event from the side of the track I won't be using my camera car mount so if anybody wants to borrow it feel free to ask on the day, I've also a digital compact that takes the eqivalent of HD video that sits well on the mount.

Cheers
Jim

La Vie en Bleu for me, i have already booked time off and was going to speak to Rob (trebor) about organising a meet for it this year, looks like there is no need :xmas-smiley-031:

Looks unanimous, get the meet thread up Rob (Woolley), I am up for J10 for the convoy

Nice one Mr Edd

Welcome to come along with me again if you wanted to Edd, instead of bringing yours. Otherwise I'd be happy to drive yours - Mike would drive mine.

Definitely up for the convoy idea too.
