One should bear in mind that it may be rather muddy in places at that meet, and one would not like to get any on ones tire would one. .. :xmas-smiley-031:

i went to the french meet second day on the Sunday last year, it was a great meet and if you dont believe me look at the pics i took below - the Veyrons are likely to be at the french meet, they dont race them but you can get real close up and personal with all the cars

Morning Guys I have started the ball rolling re booking the event I have contacted the venue and will start to post update in due course. Please vote on Jakes post re choice of dates asap. The meet info is also on .org (Mr Edd) and the 260s (Me) We would like to confim the dates as soon as possible. I have asked about both days of a weekend bash and camping if its your thing. Speka to you again soon

Rob, This venue should best be organised as 2 meets

La Vie en Bleu on 28th & 29th May

The Autumn Classic on 1st & 2nd October 2011

People could have dates to choose either or both

I have planned time off for La Vie en Bleu on 28th & 29th May and was thinking of asking trebor if he was going to organise a meet for the event this year
The other dates are 50 - 50 chance of not going

If I try for a later meet I may miss all of them, so La Vie en Bleu is a bird in the hand.
I will team up with anyone who can only make La Vie en Bleu if the meet is arranged for a different date.

HI Steve lets get the first one off the ground and, sorted then we can sort the Autumn one. If anyone wants to arrange the second one now no probs, It looks like it will be the Sunday of the French weekend. To be confirmed by Jake.

Pity you have to miss the first two local meets.

Rob

Mr Woolleysox Sir - Would you be happy to plan and lead the convoy?!

Jake
i'm sure we can go via a wrong turn like last time with Woolleysox in the lead . as to whether i'm going not sure depend on date as have somethings booked already and depending on where it is as trying to save some pennies to go to Germany , for a car meet ....... so a maybe for now ...

the other question is that everyone has voted for the french weekend but it is over 2 days, i went on the second day last year and had a great time or are we saying both days ?
