removing steering wheel airbag
Hi all i have taken the steering wheel off before disconnecting the battery first what a would like to know is it necessary to disconnect the battery thanks in advance

I think the general advice is to disconnect the battery first and leave for I think at least 20 minutes before removing air bag.

As Andy says you can remove it without the battery disconnected I’ve done it hundreds of times in the yard but if you want to be on the extra safe side you could pop the SRS fuse
