It will never be perfect without respraying but dont underestimate how much difference you can make with the right products. My parents vectra had marks like that, but a little touch-up tin, some wet sanding and a thorough machine polishing reduced them to almost nothing.

If you use the right polishes, waxes or sealants afterwards the car will glow and the lovely colour will be the only thing you really notice!

If the dents and scratches on mine were the only thing to worry about on it I'd be a happy man. I would rather have a car that has a few marks and runs 100% than one with showroom condition bodywork that runs like a 1 legged dog.

thanks all AGAIN

after reading through all the replies, i went out and had a walk round her.

now i just feel guilty for her

trust me, i adore my car and have threatened people with eating there food through a straw if they go anywhere near her

i must of just had a bad day i so want to be able to get her the best that i can, not just for me but for her too. it can just be a little frustrating when it seems that all that hard work i done didnt give the results that i was expecting.

i appreciate that i am very lucky that she is NOW running beautifully. again this wasnt over night, it has taken me some time, frustration, pulling of the hair, added with a fair few swear words, oh yes and money

maybe i should go out today and do her interior as my way of an apoligy to her

i brought her in a sorry'ish state hoping that i could turn her around, but it would seem that i just can't.

i have got her running perfectly and she is sweet as a nut.

i am now seriously thinking about selling her, as i have just not got the money to sort out her body.

i really do not know where i am with her right now

any advice would be so gratefully recieved.

here is some pictures of todays failed attempt

If I were you, i'd go for a drive and you'll be reminded why you love it so much.

If it makes you feel any better Carla ive juat been outside doing more work on the car & noticed

2 of the wheels i got back from refurb on MONDAY have stone chips already..!!

On the hear side wing theres a dirty great scratch from when the engine came out for the 2nd time (& thats usibg wing protectors)..!!

The new front bumper i had sprayed 5 weeks ago has loads of stone chips now..!!

Do i care, yes, but in the grand scheme of things the mechanicals will be fine & as, like you it's a car to use everyday these things are part of life.

Maybe Vision Express Works for me lol

Regards

Paul
