Mind you, the GPS does have speed sensing from the car and rate-gyro short term update...

I don't know of another non-OEM system that does.

The only channels I listen to on the Radio are Radio 3 and Classic FM and even those only once in a blue moon...

Hmm...£260 or £700...

Tell you what CDTi - if you cannot get on with the yank radio, I'll buy it from you.

I might hold you to that (note to self - if you are going to flog something to someone, do NOT tell them the price was less than what they think it is :lol

So, yeah £260?

Seriously, though, even if it can't be changed it may not bother me much as I'm not a big radio listener.

Obviously some channels will work so it may not be a problem at all - depending on what channels you listen to.

I may know more tomorrow if the unit is delivered.

So all appendages crossed again

I never considered myself to be a pioneer - bad things happen to pioneers

Yes, but most of them don't want to know you after seeing you.

Anyway the point is that if you have, you will realise that all the functionality of a Tom Tom can be obtained on your Mobile Phone, the N95 phone has GPS built-in, and the others N series phones will give you a gps functionality via a bluetooth GPS device, this is what I use with my phone.

Do any of you ICE expert members know if you can transfer the mobile phone's screen output to the hi-line screen output?
If other N-series phones are like my N95 then they have a video-out on the side of the phone that you can connect to the AUX-input on the HighLine SatNav systems.

I haven't tried this because I don't have a HighLine car but then I guess if you have a HighLine car you probably wouldn't use your phone for SatNav...
