Rear washer solution coming out of front washer
Hi guys, my washer solution for the rear has started to come out of the front washer jets, any ideas, i know it could be a blockage some where, just trying to get a heads up before investigating when I get home from work this evening, cheers.

Judging by lack of responses, I guess this must be normal

Hey Jerry, No not normal. I think readers may be a bit confused by your post. It's the same reservoir for front and rear washers - same 'solution'.
I'm guessing that you mean that attempt to wash the rear window is causing the windscreen washers to jet onto the windscreen? How are you trying to operate the rear washers (humour me)

Not normal. next thing would be to check the plug at the washer pump and make sure the connections are clean. Then it's a case of starting to test the electrics and pump I expect. I don't know the detail so hopefully someone else can pop up with what to expect when testing at the plug.
I wouldn't rule out the switch stalk either.

Given the one pump operates both front and rear by rotating in reverse direction, it may be the pump has a back leakage when operated in reverse allowing a flow to the front as well, or there is a restriction to the rear in the pipework. Is there a good output at the rear jet. .
