Boy has it gone hot! the sun hasn't broken through yet but holy moly it's too warm for me.
I've mowed one lawn & put granule feed & weed with the spreader on & I'm soaked in sweat, that's me done outside. Cold shower number two coming up

I got a shock when I went into the garage, a cat bolted across the workbench and out the door. Poor thing had got locked in there from yesterday afternoon, it visits and plays with our older cat. it's face was black as I could see where it'd been clawing & pulling roof foam gap insulation out trying to get free.

That time of month again to put the battery maintainer on the Rover. starts first time every time.

Well - my trip to the hospital turned out to be a bit of a farce. Doctor agreed I needed the skin tag removing from my eyelid, and agreed it was clinical, so would be done FOC under the NHS - great.
Then:
  • Half an hour of peering into my eyes with various 'scopes
  • Shining really bright lights into my eye and telling me not to blink!
  • Going through my entire life's medical history
  • Sending me to Medical Photography unit to have a close up photo of the offending item
  • ..... and finally - I'm on the waiting list for an op. - but it might be some time

There was me thinking it would be a quick examination, the Doctor would then produce a scalpel (or a pair of tin snips) and bingo - sorted
Oh well - life goes on

Blimey - I reckon I could blow the roof off the car with the new speakers fitted. Volume number 4 (out of 30!) is enough to give you a headache. Angela asked the fitter if he could fix the radio so that it wouldn't play Irish Folk or Country music - so I'm now off to stick around 8 -10 hours of said Irish noise onto an SD card - that'll sort her out

Lucky for the cat that you are a frequent visitor to your garage

Evenin' all, Hot and muggy as heck here, still no sunshine

Talk about 'it never rains only pours'! Missus just finished pegging a ton of washing out when the foldable clothes line keeled over & snapped in half

Rust was the culprit, I had some lengths of 5 feet by 1" square box section lengths in the garage that were just wide enough to slide what was left of the clothes line pole inside it, I got the big sledge hammer & a block of wood out to drive it into the ground at the corner of the lawn, the missus wouldn't hold it for some reason,

anyway job done & back in business

Piece of steak & a jacket spud for tea tonight.

Yeah the poor thing must have been gagging for a drink as the garage gets proper hot inside in this weather.

I always have the side door open in this weather through the daytime.
