i feel a plan forming
My car needs some TLC , new front disks & pads and new rear disks pads and drums as my handbrake is shockingly poor .
Now i have no confidence in ANY garages near me and would like to travel down to england [yeuk] to one of our handy members who do this kind of work . I am off for a week [2nd week in nov] i wouldn't even mind staying over a night to get the works done . I have just spent a whack of dough on my pride and joy and dont want some plonker mucking up the FLYERMOBILE . So with this in mind lets be having your recommendations so i can contact the relevent bods , come on troops i want names names names. |

I'm in complete agreement, i'm born suspicious and i'll not trust a garage unless I cant do it myself and then i'll ask to see any old parts after replacement. I tell em it's because it was only fitted a short while ago and I want to send it back that way they have to do what they are being paid to do. Oil changes are so easy (esp if you have a pela pump) and then you know what oil's going in and the jobs done right!
