Don't quite follow Ian, the seller intimates the engine is spinning over just not starting or really really seized ?

Question sent......
Hiya,
Can you confirm please the engine does not turn over or it just won't fire ?

Kind regards
Lates

I spied this for sale too and did contemplate it. But as you say lates, KV6 engines are pricey second hand and fitted with one the car would not be worth the sum of its parts...

Did you have it on ebay? as I'm sure this was on it

someone who knows what they are looking at could do with a shufty at this car !!.

I spotted it the other week on the M6, it was still looking very tidy. Thought I recognised the reg as Keiths old car.

Just to give you the complete story. I put the AUK in for part x on a deisel Mondeo and completed the deed on the 17th. April, so if you saw it on the M6 between the M61 and Lancaster before that date it was me. The car was running perfectly and I had a new clutch and flywheel fitted in December. When I bought the car off Keith in 2007 I had the 90,000 mile service done which included timing belts by the local MG/Rover dealer. It has also had 4 new tyres in the last 12 months which hardly show any wear. The wide screen had already been removed before I bought it and I have swapped the Mk4 for the Mk3 Sat Nav comp. As stated it was well looked after while I had it and the bodywork was in excellent condition for it's age. Finally just to answer an earlier question, yes the orange clip has been fitted.
